The Gun Club Olympic Lucentum was founded in December 1999, in March 2000 is inscribed on the National Register of Clubs of the Royal Spanish Federation Olympic Shooting with number 217 and in April 2000 in the Register of Sport Organizations of Comunidad Valenciana with number 5542. Since its inception, the intention of the first board was to promote the sport of the sport by organizing a national event which brought together the best national shooters. For this reason, it created the Grand Prix city of Alicante. What started as a group of friends who love the Olympic shooting has become one of the clubs with more initiative organizer of Spain. Among its founders are Bañuls Francisco Antonio Marín, Juan José Gavilán, who served as president, and Juan Antonio Valero Tejero. Today highlights the Gran Prix Alicante City International compressed air, which has become the reference event nationally for the number of attendees both Spanish and foreign. Since 2009 we organized the World Cup in Olympic shooting for disabled people, being the first to make these kinds of events in Spain, with the collaboration of the Delegation of the Federation Alicante Valenciana, the FEDDF and the Spanish Paralympic Committee.
