It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the IX Ciudad de Alicante International Open  for air rifle and air pistol, wich will take place from 1th till 4th July 2010, at the Delegación Provincial de Tiro Olímpico de Alicante Shooting Range, Alicante (Spain) with 30 shooting places.

The organization has no bus service. Each shooter must reach by themselves.

There will be an extra award (plus 1.000€) for the best shooter with 582 points in Air Pistol Competition and 597 points in Air Rifle Competition.

 

Junior awards: medals. 

 

Special Award “Ciudad de Alicante” for the best shooter between rifle and pistol. (Best approaching to Spain NR)

 

Rules: ISSF. 60 shoots for Open and Junior Men. 40 shoots for Junior Women. 

 

International Referees.  

 

Entry Fee: 20 €. With this entry fee, shooters will shoot on Friday 2nd or on Saturday 3th. If you decide to shoot in both days, your entry fee will be 40 €, and only the best of the two scores will be in the final classification of the competition.

 

Entry valid only by payment.

 GETTING THERE

By plane: :

The Airport of Alicante is located just 9 km southwest of the city, within the boundaries of the town of Elche, and is run by Aena, the Spanish aviation and airspace authority.
The airport can be accessed along the A-7 motorway and the N-332 dual carriageway, with the average journey time of around 15 minutes from Alicante city centre rising to 30 minutes during rush hour.

 

Getting from the Airport

 

o      Taxi: there is a taxi rank opposite the airport's Arrivals Hall.
Approximate prices from the airport to the city centre are:
Daytime rate: 16 euros.
Night rate and public holidays: 18 euros.

There are bus stops opposite the Arrivals and Departures halls.
Timetable: every 20 minutes from 6:30am to 11.10pm.
Ticket price: 2.60 euro
